So basically the new map is only working for other modes except turf takeover?
Sad, I was expecting a new map of turf takeover because there are only two maps for plants to defend now.
While some of the Vanquish/Suburbination/etc are mirrored by Turf Takeover maps taking place in the same location, like Time Park has Seeds of Time and Lunar Landing has Moon Base Z the maps aren't identical and the Turf Takeover map doesn't actually feature the location used in it's smaller cousin.
I know some FPS games, like Battlefield, usually create the big version and then just limit you to a smaller portion for fast paced games like Team Vanquish which take place in the same location it's pretty obvious that GW2 creates two completely separate maps when they choose to use the same setting.
I agree that the Frontline Flats environment seems perfect for a stretched out Turf Takeover game running along the length of that giant wall if such a map was developed we'll need to wait for a future content release to see it.
