@aikohu im excited, but also dreading that an ice character is coming to bfn. Ice characters where really annoying to play against in GW2, and I really don't like how ice damage worked then.
Since they reworked fire and toxic damage to be fairly balanced at release, i really hope ice damage gets a rework too.
I haven't watched too much of that video. I am not looking forward too an Overwatch Mei knockoff, I really don't want a character that freezes people simply by shooting at them.

@Pheesley I heartily agree on all points. Frozen Citrons and Arctic Troopers were extremely annoying to fight against in GW2 and Mei is not only annoying in OW, she was even more annoying to her own team! Having those 'teammates' that would put their ice wall up directly in front of the starting area doors just as the match starts was oh so helpful and amusing for the 1000th time /s.
But most of the other ice characters in GW1 and 2 weren't as bad and watching the video, she won't be as obnoxious as Mei; it looks like you can move through the shield (at least iceberg can, I presume other plants can too, maybe zombies can't though), she can't do that right click insta-death snipe thing Mei has in OW either, so I don't think she'll be bad, but we'll have to see.
Man reading all this, I'm glad I left OW for good, BfN needs work for sure, but at least it doesn't have garbage like Mei.
@Iron_Guard8 What is Mei? And Iceberg Lettuce CAN"T freeze opponents simply by shooting them like in GW2. Or slow-down.

I was replying to Pheesly's comment, Mei was a super annoying character in OW that uses ice and from the footage Iceberg isn't going to a be problem like Mei is in that game thankfully. We don't actually know if she'll have the GW freeze effect yet but I'm pretty sure she won't be anywhere near as bad as frozen citron. I'm looking forward to this character being added to BfN for sure.
- @Pheesley You said you haven't watched too much of that video. Isn't it best to save your thoughts for when you've finished taking a look at her? Especially with comments like "Overwatch Mei knockoff", which seem like strange comments to make after finishing the video.
