No audio when joining a multiplayer game

I downloaded PvZ Garden Warfare 2 on the PC, on Windows 10. The audio works normally when I join Backyard Battleground, but whenever I join a multiplayer game, such as Garden Ops, Turf Takeover, etc, the audio completely stops. I can only hear peoples mics in these games. When I leave the game to go back to the Battleground, the noise comes back again. It could be an issue with my headphones, as they are Bluetooth, but I'm not sure. It could be that the audio is just very, VERY quiet because I remember very faintly hearing a noise from one of those multiplayer games, despite my master volume being at 100%. The game is always quiet, and I have to set my volume up to around 80% on my computer at 100% master volume to be able to hear at a comfortable level. Any tips on how to solve this issue? Is it Bluetooth related?

  • Quick note: My headphones have 2 options: Stereo & Hands-Free. Stereo is the highest quality, and this is not compatible with multiplayer. Hands-Free is MUCH lower quality, but this does work with multiplayer games.

  • After almost 3 years of you posting this, this is still a bug in the game not getting enough recognition, they probably won't fix this bug since they have moved on from GW2, but its such an inconvenience.

  • This worked on my end, Thanks gangy I just disabled all audio sources i didnt need and now my audio is all good
