Only when Townhall closes and reopens the possibility for Trials of Gnomes key will be in the Red Chest.

Oh I see, hopefully next week when the portal opens the box will give you the key. Trial of Hot Doom. If you have a problem passing it in time, I used the Shrimp Imp, when it gets to the last part or last 2 parts (not 100% sure -- it's been a while), transform into the mech, double space to jump and press the button to skip over. I believe there is a YouTube video. You can browse for trial of hot doom if you have any trouble passing. It helped me. xx
Haha! You'll probably do fine. I was excited to unlock them too. After I completed my last trial, which I think was Trial of Hot Doom, there was no current Portal, but I went to unlock a few of the locks for the Torchwood and HoverGoat, so when it opened I can grind away for more rainbow stars to open the chests and finish unlocking the characters. I think it took me a few tries throughout the day to pass. It's not as difficult as the blue door (Trial of Recollection??). It's probably tied in difficulty to the green door (Trial of Balance??). It takes timing and watching YT videos helped teach me which sections moved with what patterns. I was able to form a strategy prior to playing. I'm technical and typed way too much! Lol, good luck. Blame this coffee for the blabs.
