My issue is with never being able to find a multi-player game on the PC in any of the modes besides TURF TAKEOVER. I can never find anyone playing Vanquish Confirmed, Suburbination, Gnome Bomb, etc....like EVER. Everyone is in Turf Takeover and neglects the other game modes. It has become ridiculous to say the least. Come on my fellow PCers, play some of the other modes sometime.
That's always been the case even on console PVZ1 it was GNG, Vanquish or Garden Ops
Now PVZ2 its basically 95% Turf Takeover 5% with the odd Ops and Vanquish. Nobody cares about the rest of the modes they don't really stack up in interests like gng
Turf Takeover is like an adventure or like the game of Risk where you defense your space or conquer with an army. It's more exciting. I hate Garden Ops because you basically stay in one place and just defend. Why would you guys want that?
You play on PC. Enough said.
Well, if xboxers can play other modes why can't pc folks? All the game modes are going to waste. In order to complete the daily challenges you have to play with AI. I'd rather play with real people but yeah all the people are in Turf. Perhaps the devs should make more modes that last longer like Turf so that we have a better variety to chose from.....
I got moderate success staying in mixed mode in europe region during some of the hot hours (i.e late afternoon) as well as team vanquish. Turf takeover almost always have player no matter the time. Which is quite a shame considering herbal assault to be the worst gamemode right now imo.
for the record turf takeover games are also half empty many hours of the day across all regions
i try to play in the afternoon european servers are half empty constantly
and american servers are empty because its like the middle of the night over there
games will usually start empty and slowly fill up on the 2nd or 3rd garden if you are lucky to have the game fill up at all.
and then plenty of people just leave as they dont like the game is already in the middle and usually unbalanced to one side
the next game people will leave before the next round will start and its a cycle
almost every time players do not want to be plants
and its actually hard to find full games many hours of the day
and people say the game is "just fine"
by this time many people should have been higher ranks
but 90% + of players i see are rank 200 and under
this also shows the game is not being played a lot
its been 3 months and 90%+ sub 200 rank
maybe not 200 but like 500 and under at best
half way into the blue rank plate
