No star after winning
Lately, there have been some occasions when I won the match but no star rewarded. I am at level 42 and it is frustrated to get 4/5 then win a match and NOTHING happens. Then I played again and lost...

This happened to me today, twice in a row! I won two ranked matches in a row and was not awarded a star either time. I play on an iPhone SE.
It should not take stars on a disconnect if it's not going to award for a disconnect.
And that will never happen because it would be taken advantage of terribly. I have had it happen to me too, and for the odd time I try to climb a level or two and every now and then I don't get my win?
I feel the original posters frustration and I have to go out for a walk when it happened last because it seems like it always starts at 4/5 stars and then it just goes directly downhill.
Some days it feels like some game devs have wagers on how far they can push a person
