[Old Report] I opened 23 premium packs and deleted the game

    That was definitely very bad luck and I understand your disappointment. However, if you enjoy the game, I would continue playing because with the cards that you did get you should be able to build some very solid decks with the 6 starting heroes that you get and should be able to easily climb up the ladder and get another 2k gems and then have another go at getting more heroes. My experience was that I was able to purchase the 2K pack 3 times over the course of climbing the ladder and on two of those 2K packs I got lots of heroes but in one I didn't so I highly recommend you give it another go.

    Don't think of it as grinding. Just play at your pace. Play when you feel like it and play because you enjoy the gameplay. It may take longer than if you purposefully grind for gems but if you are enjoying the game it shouldn't matter.

    Something I do when a game dissapoints me like that is to take a little break. I also play multiple games so that if one upsets me, I just go to the other and that way I don't get tired of one particular game.

    I'm gonna take a break as I deleted the game. Later I might give it another shot... But for now I'm very disappointed... But thank you for your message !

    And the grind was because I really wanted to have more heroes as they are many more.... And spending 2000 diamonds for no heroes, it means that I will never be close to have them all.. Even if the goal is not to collect heroes.. Well anyway thank you again ^^

      Sombedy in a different thread mentioned there might be a bug related to this. I would file a report if I were you and see if you can get some compensation.

        Recently I bought the 10+1 multi pack (when gems were on sale, 1300 for $7 or something) and I got pretty awful cards. One legendary, 0 new heroes and like 4 SR. I have gotten better drop rates for SR and Legendary just by opening packs one at a time. 

        I just assumed opening packs one at a time is better since it increases the randomness of the drops by giving a fresh set of drops each time.

    Currently I'm missing just 4 plants heroes. Few days ago I have opened 50 premium packs + 20 Fertiliser packs (I hoped for bigger chance to get plant heroes) and I have got... zero new heroes.

      Same thing here. Opened 27 premium packs, 0 heroes, 2 useless legendaries of the same kind (3 gargantuars for 12, good luck surviving to 12 with Imphinity, hah). 

      What is extremely problematic, getting another 2000 gems is 5 times harder than getting the first 2000.

        I have a theory.

        I believe that during the limited release (before October), back when packs only gave 3 cards and only 1 of them could be rare or better, the odds of getting a hero were fairly high. From my experience and seeing other posters talk about their pack openings, I'd say it was about 1 in 6 or 1 in 8 odds to get a legendary and that legendary had about 50%-75% chance to be a hero. Back then, the guaranteed hero packs were also cheaper, only 600 gems.

        With the global release, the developers must have come to the conclusion that it made sense to reduce the probabilities of getting new heroes, maybe to make them more exciting or maybe because each hero unlocks 10 quests that give you plenty of cards, sparks and gems (we didn't have those back then either until the last month) and are thus more valuable. It seems to me that per pack there is a higher probability of getting a legendary now, since more cards within each pack have a probability of being a legendary and you get more cards per pack, so I get the feeling the greatly reduced the odds of a legendary being a hero to something like 10%-20% chance. It could also be that the odds are reduced when you have more heroes.

        My personal experience was this:

        Before global release

        6 starting heroes

        2k pack 3 heroes

        2k pack 1 hero

        2k pack 4 heroes

        After global release

        5k pack 1 hero

        total: 15 heroes

        Given that the odds are now fairly low, it could be that the 750K pack is well worth it to get any missing heroes, given that if you already have most of the cards, you'll get mostly sparks out of packs.
