I'm still having this problem where my mouse and keyboard still aren't working when i launch the game. I did all the control panel stuff, which got the game running. I HAVE actually been able to get the mouse and keyboard working somehow and was able to play the game. but every time i open the game again, I can't use the mouse or keyboard. even tho, during the intro i can move the mouse around on the screen, but can't click or skip intro, (if that's even possible), and when i'm in the village thing where you spawn when first loading in, I can't move, or shoot, or look around.
I barely make the specs for the game, but I lowered settings when I actually had the chance to, so it does actually run for me. Just really annoying that the mouse and keyboard won't be recognized consistently. I've been looking through the forums and google. and all the answers say to do the nvidia control panel thing, which i already did, so please don't respond with that. I also read something about the origin client thing, but when i try to start mine in the task manager, it starts, goes to running, then immediately stops. Does it need to be constantly running, if so, how do i get it to keep running?
Also, is there a command line to launch the program in full screen? I changed it to windowed to stream, and i'm not sure if that has anything to do with it? if not nvm this last question, if it does any help would be appreciated. 🙂
Thank you.
Silent, start the game, alt+tab out, right click the Start in the bottom right hand corner, select Device Manager. Then select Display Adapter, then open the video card there that is the 'real' video card. At that point, go back in game, and let me know if it caused your keyboard/mouse to start responding. This has worked for me and others.

Yeah, I have to do this EVERY time I start the game. I'm not sure the technical reasons behind it, but there seems to be some kind of failure between the games coding and video cards when dual cards are detected (most laptops).
Some would blame it on video drivers or hardware and such, but it doesn't happen on other games that have higher minimum requirements to run, which would lead me to believe it's actually a failing on the games part rather than our drivers/hardware.

I tried your "trick" for the first time and it worked. After I closed the game and it didn't work anymore. I tried this trick a couple times and yet it doesn't work. It's so strange that I got it to work 1 single time and after that I didn't work anymore, kinda sad ☹️

Yes, that method is working too.
I've found another one.
open windows explorer, minimized it
start game
when it loaded and not respond
alt+tab to win explorer
mouse right click and refresh or just simple hit F5 for refresh (probably will see a blink that things refereshed, maybe game window get orange too, showing it get inputs too)
back to game
it should be okay 🙂

Ok not sure if anyone else is suffering from this issue.. i just ran into it on GW2 and resolved it by turning of Origin in game notifications.. its was stealing the view from the game. Disable this by clicking on the game in Origin and clicking game settings, the disable the in game notification. and all works fine! GL
