EA actually never mentioned why they cancelled Battle for Neighborville but I am guessing that it has something to do with not making as much profit as they would have liked, which is a shame as the game still seemed to have potential and it looked like the game was going to be supported for years to come.
I would still like to see updates to a current shooter and/or a new shooter in the future as the franchise as a whole still seems quite popular and has a lot of potential, and in addition, the games seem quite populated when I play on Microsoft Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
