@ToastedSarnieNope they don't have any audio files so far, just like the other "talking" characters at the bases. As far as I know, none of the PvZ characters use human language audio files, but it's a pretty big franchise and I haven't played it all.
As @TheSprinter85 said the zombie one does talk about a secret plant base, but that could just mean the current plant base because zombies can't find it?
I was just curious what people thought. It was subtle new addition that looks like it could be an indicator for something fun. Maybe we can start bringing a boss in Giddy Park on certain occasions. Or maybe they are going to move over to a door and blow it open (like @MrKritiek mentioned), both of those character types have sort of explosive possibilities. Or maybe they are just new interactive decorative features. It's something to keep an eye on for the future
@TLEsquire I just wondered about audio as the others do make a little bit of noise to start with - not proper speech, but say a little growl from Chomper, or squeaky bit from Acorn 😂

@ToastedSarnieI had the sound so low last night I might have even missed if they made the normal sort of sounds, so now I will have to check that when I get back in because I want to know lol
It would be a little disappointing at this point if they are just decorations but that's mostly because they sparked my imagination and made me think of neat things they could do. I just like seeing new stuff added even when it doesn't "do" much of anything. I love seeing the park changes they come up with seasonally too. It's a rich environment and it's got a lot of potential to add all kinds of fun things. We (forum members) throw ideas out there all the time. Maybe some will be collected and considered even if they aren't currently being planned?Edit - typo. Why are d and s so close to each other on the keyboard anyway?!

I saw these guys the first day they showed up when I was in the Zombie base and the first thing that Gil said to me involved a "secret plant base" so I immediately thought it might be something new to go searching for so I swapped over the Plants to see if I could find out more but old Dil just made bad puns and when I revisited Gil he did the same so I ultimately dismissed his talk of a "secret base" as gossip and random conversational because it would be appropriate for him to be spreading such due to his name.
It does seem odd for such prominent figures to be there just as decoration but there's the Chomper and Corn and All-Star standing around as well with just random bits of conversation so I'm trying not to read too much into them at the moment.
