It's just the way random works. Sometimes yours goes up faster. We generally don't notice all the things that go right for us when we win, it's our skill when that happens... When we lose it's the game plotting against us.
It's really just human nature to see things that way. When things go right, we don't often look for how or what we could do better; when it goes wrong, we try to analyze it to make it planning better. When you throw rng into the mix, it provides skewed results.

Exactly right @daalnnii .
I conceded once because I felt the rng was particularly harsh to my opponent. It remains my greatest source of frustration, but it's certainly a necessary evil to make the game fun.
