@SergeSim An option to cancel a taunt by shooting or something would be solid as. Taunts are like 3-5 seconds long in this game. If someone catches you taunting you are basically pre-nerf engineer stunned and are going to die. I get that its a punishment for bming but I shouldn't HAVE to die for taunting. Let being damaged cancel it or something. They discourage the use of taunts even tho they're the only other interesting thing you can get apart from skins ☹️
@chogath_playerTaunts are tricky because people have different views on them! I find them quite fun if you're in a good-natured, evenly matched lobby, but they can feel insulting if you're being stomped or targeted & in those kind of games, I've known people leave the game because that's the final straw. Because players can sometimes get offended (or even abusive) if you taunt, I rarely use then myself when I vanquish someone & mainly use them (still) as a way of saying hello or thanks.
I do agree that you should be able to cancel the gesture in some way!!ADDED: Though I find it funny seeing the person who killed you being vanquished because they taunted! 😂

Bullies suck in real life and in-game. Many people use taunts to bully others and those people should be ashamed.
I wish taunts were completely removed because more times than not, people who use them INTEND to make others mad.
Im sitting here like, dang, little person... what kind of no-life loser tries to make kids rage quit a game by targeting them and then taunting?
Games didn’t used to be like this... it’s LAME these days. If my opinion isn’t the popular one, I’m okay with it.
- @spIash_damage I don't think taunting is bullying. Taunts are in plenty of games. Some of them are just dance moves. Bullying is relentless harassment or racism or something like excluding someone from something. Nasty things like that is bullying. Taunting in a children's game is certainly not a form of bullying. Apart from skins and hats, taunts are the only real worth while thing you can get from chests. You get to see your character perform some silly dance or gesture. I have yet to see a player target another player, taunt and cause the other guy to quit. If voicechat is involved sure maybe the person is being verbally harassed or something idk. The taunt would be the last straw. Taunts alone should mean nothing. "Many people use taunts to bully others".. I have seriously never met a single bully in the gw series. I do not approve of bullying :o
Just saying there is usually more to the story of someone leaving than a taunt. Taunting is there to be used, its all fun and games. yeah again i dont support bullying just saying taunting alone cant rly be bullying.
I don't know what you talkin about, there should be no way to cancel taunt animation, if you got killed when tauntin its only YOUR fault and not games fault, because:
1) you werent cautios enough to start tauntin in unsafe area
2) KARMA Biii*****rokolli!
Same stuff happens in overwatch and in team fortress noone complains.
