I see that you are using APU. I experienced the same error a few months ago and refunded the game. I tried the game again using EA game time and I still had the same "PVZ has stopped working" pop up error, so I guess it's not fixed yet. I am using A8-3850 processor, similar to yours.
EDIT: My GPU is Geforce 650 Ti Boost.
Well we invested even more time into it but checked go malware. I will let you know if its fixed and then tell you how we fixed. My dad does a lot of work with computers. He's in a company that is basically insurance for insurance. Vertifore . He manages a few servers and has made a bunch of neat programs and stuff. Coding freaks me out and o ccasionaly depresses me if I think about it too much but anything else computer is my specialty. Mostly gaming though 😛

I spent even more money on yet another graphics card. still doesn't work. :/

You haven't mentioned any matching power supply. These days, it is particularly important to make sure those two components match one another. What replacement GPU card did you get?

My power supply is fine. And the card is a gtx 650.

Not going to like this... but looking at the errors and taking into consideration you've bought different GPUs (more than 1?).
Reinstall windows. If you have to much stuff, shrink the current partition and install windows on the free space you create.
Windows ISO's are freely available straight from Microsoft. They come with a 30 day trial if your old license won't activate, which it probably would but it depends. They also offer a 90 day trial of Windows 8.1 pro, it's obtained through a different section than the rest of the windows ISO's.
If it doesn't work, just delete the 'new' partition you made and absorb it back into your original windows.. no harm no foul if done right.

I think there is a very strong chance something just isn't right with Windows in your case.
Assuming we tried all the obvious fixes... i.e. sfc /scannow and what not.
*edit*.. little tongue in cheek but "fine" isn't a measurable quality of a PSU :P I do doubt it's the PSU though given the errors have been the same consistently even when you had a 630 which isn't pulling hardly any power.

yeah no that didn't work. sorry I forgot to reply. We got it working for ten or so minutes hoping that was it but nah.I have a 600 w PSU.
