I just found a solution to having GW2 detect my mouse, but that included turning off Discord overlay which can sometimes be very inconvenient, like when you have to quickly send something mid-game. I also tried opening Discord after I launched the game, but then the mouse is always present, even when it's not supposed to be present. Is there a way to fix this or is this a problem with the game?
Community Manager@squidditty At the moment there is not a permanent fix for it no. One of the only workarounds that I have see work is to disable overlays in different programs like Discord. It has been reported to the team and they are aware but looking into other matters right now so that is a bit lower on the pole of issues.
@EA_Shepard Just curious, is this just a problem for some computers or is it the game itself?
Community Manager@squidditty Its not a game wide-spread game issue for all players. I can use it fine and I've spoken to many others who can as well. It seems to be something specifically installed on the PC causing the issue. The problem there is because you can install whatever you want on a PC, the list of what potentially it could be is quite long.
