Whenever i try to startup my game in EA or in steam (PVZGW2) I get a black screen, I think i know it's because it doesnt startup on fullscreen but I don't know how i get it to go full screen.

When i open Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2, it opens does the opening video, and then goes to the loading screen and says could not communicate with EA servers please check your network connection and try again. All my other games work fine. Can anyone help me with this?
