Pea Cannon Direct Hit Challenge Bugged

this is kinda dissapointing, i really wanted the corn hat...but this glitch/bug doesnt allow me

This is happening to me I’m on ps4 fix it or give us more time because this is not fair 

Same here for Xbox One S. No fix means there's no way to complete the challenge.

We’re aware of this issue and are investigating. We are working towards compensating users who have completed every character challenge except the Pea Cannon Direct Hit Challenge. PS4 here. I'm having the same issues and those 7 prize bulbs will possibly keep me from getting my Mantis skin. Very disappointing. I'm pretty sure it was the new patch that did this because this was not an issue for my girlfriend, as she did it before the update. However, with the new update and changes on how hard it is now to acquire XP/prize bulbs, it is nearly impossible to get the 13 prize bulbs i need without the 7 from the one challenge I lack. This is not how you fix a game, this is how you drive your founders members away. 

Im also getting this glitch but ive not yet done all the pea shooter challenges but if i do complete them will i also get compensated?
