So.. i notice that Petrified Cactus is useless in sniper role. She really needs to change. Few tips: Increase bullet speed. Decrease impact DMG by 2. Decrease ammunition by 2. She will be much better if DMG and bullet speed is same like Captain Cannon´s. I want this, because Captain Cannon is good as sniper, but Petrified Cactus is useless in that role.

Basically to say is each character build for a certain purpose, role, strength and weakness. You need to learn those traits and adjust your playing style accordingly (instead of asking the character adjusting to your playing style).

Petrified Cactus is not designed to be a sniper when she's more of close to mid range. She has 25 more health at the cost of movement speed and projectile velocity. Besides, increased projectile velocity would make timing a little more difficult when trying to hit anyone through cover and someone pretty close to you.PS: You can't just make demands on nerfs or buffs when you'll realize that she's a top tier character. There's probably not many players that are accurate at detonating. (Except I am the one that can play Detonate classes like a pro)

Captain Cannon also is the worst pick for long range fights. A normal Cactus will take him out long before he can even dream about going to win that fight.And if you compare 2 characters you actually have to compare the whole characters, not just cherrypicking things.P. Cactus got 150 HP, while Captain Cannon only got 125. That alone should tell you that P. Cactus is made to go closer.And 150 HP is a lot. With the health upgrade (160 HP), P. Cactus can even survive an Imp Punt.If you've got an Imp problem in your garden, you call Petrified Cactus. After that they will only dare to approach in their mechs.

That's because she's meant to be close to mid range. Used properly she is the best detenation variant in the game now that electro pea got nerfed. I am able to go on insane killstreak with petrified cactus she is awesome!

35 detonation damage and 40+ on direct impact. She excels at taking out people who think that it's a sniper and get to close to her.

It's true. All other variants for her IS sniper, she needs this close range fighter. If I don't zig zag just right detonation damage gets me everytime I get overconfident.

Generally speaking once you've completed the full roster for each character class you'll find at least one variant in each one which departs from what is considered "normal" for the class or which just does the same job differently.

It adds depth and interest to the game and requires players to learn new tactics and styles of play if they expect to be able to rank up to maximum Player Rank.

No she doesn't...you can't compare her to another character. Every character is different for a reason. Her bullet speed is just right to fit her role as a closer range variant. She is a mid range tankier character so she has more health and slower bullet speed to help her take out characters that get to close with her detenation. If you make her bullet speed faster she loses that ability her bullets would fly out of range of anyone close to her and the detenation would be useless. Captain cannon has high bullet speed because He has a scattershot to deal with close enemies.

Captain Cannon hits like a truck when accurately played!!! Petrified Cactus hits like a Tank when you play with good timing! But the thing is, Cannon is shooting a Cannonball projectile which can fly pretty quick. Cactus is shooting eggs! Eggs can't withstand much force without being crushed can they? Plus, she's shooting them from their mouth. If you've played Mario Bros 2 and fought Birdo you'll see, you can't really spit eggs with that much velocity! hur hur hur
