@ToastedSarnieI play Deadbeard a lot but haven't tried so many upgrades once I found my current setup:
- Incoming Keg: Move faster while Barrel Blast (3 points) a must have. With this upgrade equipped you can escape fast but also can bait opponents around cornes just to approach them...booom!!! It's even more important since they nerfed the barrels hp.
- Critial Blow: Faster refresh time for all abilities by earning a critical vanquish (3 points) - thats my second upgrade to go.
- Powder Keg: Captain Deadbeard gets launched higher from Barrel Blast (1 point) - it's the best 1 point upgrade. So I took that one
There might be better setups but that one fits my play style the best since I use the Barrel Blast quite often to get out of dangerous situations and to troll opponents who are going to follow me if I retreat :D
@ToastedSarnie Can't remember what its called but there's an upgrade that knocks back enemies with your scattershot. Great for uprooting sunflowers and peashooters!
Also- great for knocking people off your sniping perch if they ever try to face you head on!
- @PineapplePiano That upgrade can be fun to bully other players but gameplaywise it's not worth the points imho :D That for you need at least 2 points which you can't put in actually good upgrades.
