I won a game on Turf Takeover last night with plants. It was on Moon Base Z. With the zombie side severely handicapped with only 3 people against 6 on plants.
In all seriousness though, this game is a joke. Play any kind of team vanquish and the entire enemy team is All Stars, Super Brainz, and Scientists. And they will still smash the plant side with all kinds of variety characters.

- Never seen the plants win on attack since the patch. ..I've played for hours and topped plenty of leaderboards but not a chance...
And if I'm on zombies we have steamrolled the plants when they are attacking....never lost more than 1 garden/graveyard...
Game still needs balancing...but I'm sticking with it...In mid and long range,plant offense is fine,but they really need something for close range...

Game still needs balancing...but I'm sticking with it...I keep seeing people say this but I find it very, very hard to believe. I've won many games as plants, and also lost as zombies; I honestly feel it's fairly balanced now bar electro brains splash damage and possibly imp health. Being zombies is not an auto win by any account, and if you're top of the leaderboards each time then either a) you are always stuck with bad players b) always playing against better players c) you're team isn't counter picking or d) despite being top you're not influencing the game enough ie going for kills instead of captures. not taking rose when the teleporter is down etc.
- There are many young children who play play gw2, this con be confirmed listening to mic noise in between games. Trying to tell and give the understanding to these young players that they need to play tacticly is going to be impossible, this is the reason GW1 worked so well is you don't need to work in that manor and kids and adults of any age can pick up the game and play either way and succeeded well in the game as all characters are balanced.
Gw2 is going to fail for a lot of kids and adults who were excited to have the game, in its current state of play gw2 going to be impossible for the first time player and children to pick up and succeed , this will be the downfall of the game as you need new players to make a profit to then able to improve the game.
The Rose issue just masked a bigger problem in that it covered up the limited success you will have as a plant. Rose now nerfed and so the bigger plant issue has been shown.
