Plants team is weak.(specially turkover offense)
- zen cactus need more damage or splash damage. zen cactus is weaker than shark bite.
- cactus's drone is weaker than pirate's parrot.
- citron's primary weapon need more damage or more fire rate.
- pirate >(stronger than) cactus
- scientist > sunflower
- super brains > chomper
- Plants team is weak, but rose do not need additional balancing.(rose balance is very good)
Even if they reverted Rose back to release Rose, I think zombies would still stomp all over plants.
That basically is the issue here, it's mostly played by kids who don't know what team work or balance is, they never will. They're on a mission to kill the whole enemy team solo and when they fail miserably and die they respawn and try again...
Then we have the trolls, who come in here and ruin it for everyone by mocking and making fun of players who want balance, because all they do is play the OP classes and steamroll the rubbish ones because well, that's what a troll does, by nature. They suck at most games, so have to abuse and outplay little children in an unbalanced game for satisfaction and self worth.
I am sure it will be balanced, but after seeing that horrendous Nerf coupled with ridiculous buffs that weren't required, part of me just wants to stay silent and not say anything.
I never played rose and I never cried she was overpowered. I levelled my Unicorn Chomper and Paleontologist and now they're both maxed I experimented and tried out a few new characters and I have to say, some of them and on the zombies side are ridiculously overpowered.
Therefore Plants need extra power to compensate...
- I think the point here is while plants may have similar power when coordinated, the majority of players whether young or just not very serious, do not play as a team. Most people play a run and gun style and that playstyle works best with stronger offensive abilities, when trying to do the same thing with plants these people are not having as good results as they do with zombies which makes them feel the game not balanced.
Maybe if that's the intended design then there should be more tips for newer or younger players on how to coordinate or something idk?
I think this is more or less the issue here though I dint really have a solution. To those of you who would say "they should get gud " or wtv else just think about this. If new players feel the game is broken whether right or wrong they'll most likely not continue to play which means less new players less incentive for the company to use any resources on improving or expanding and then we all lose.The Plants were always weak at close range and were way to reliant on teamwork. If we fix these two issues then everything will be fine. Buff the Plants and leave the Zombies alone.
I'v always thought Zombies were more lethal and fun (with their overall superior abilites, firearms, etc); the sequel has only made that even more pronounced. But no one should be jumping aboard the nerf bandwagan. Nerfing everything leans the game towards boring. It would be smarter to buff the Plants with better abilties, etc.
