As is addressed it's in small print at the bottom and i never even saw it on my husbands copy of the game. I would like to refer to the question that was asked: Who do you want to please your lawyers or your customers? If you helped your customers that wouldn't even be a problem. Or rather should we expect that you just don't care about these customers. We're only a small amount of your money right? Four years to have someone even say a live account is required- come on.
@Amistaria As the game is an always online title then you will need a constant internet connection. If playing on Xbox or PS4 then you will need to subscribe to their online service over which we have no control. If you have a PC then you can play the game on PC without paying any additional subscription.

Ya'll own the game. Microsoft and Sony don't. You made it a requirement for XBox Gold. I have a constant internet connection. The problem isn't the console it's the restrictions ya'll put on the game that isn't necessary. EA has enough clout to goto Microsoft and Sony and change the requirements for the game so that people can play it without having to shell out more money to be able to play a game they already own. You shouldn't be able to hold our product at ransom unless we pay every month to be able to play a game that we already paid for and own.

@Satxkiller As the game is an always online experience then you will need a constant internet connection. If you are playing on a PS4 or XboxOne then the console developers have implemented a paid for service in order to play online, we have no control over how this and if you wish to play the game without paying a subscription fee then you can do so by playing the PC version of the game. I would recommend speaking with Sony and/or Microsoft for more information on why they charge a fee for online access.

Sounds more like you're saying you don't care and it's not your problem than anything. Why is it that to play single-player, it requires an online connection? To play with other people obviously that's the case, but even multiplayer games have sections that are 'offline' for solo play where you don't need the subscription. If games that are supposed to be entirely online multiplayer have this figured out.. Why don't you? Why are you putting the blame on Xbox and PlayStation for EA game's choice to not allow people to play a game, that isn't even hugely multiplayer, offline?
