Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2, PlayStation4, child access
Hello,
Long story short: Is it in any way possible to have 9yo playing GW2 on PS4 with their own account? Seems like there has earlier been a workaround (https://answers.ea.com/t5/Other-Plants-vs-Zombies-Games/You-are-too-young-or-don-t-have-the-correct-permissions/td-p/5781177), but seems that this workaround has stopped working. So, what's the status for 2023?
My kid can play Battle for Neighbourville on PS4 just fine (e.g. we have an EA child account all setup and working), but GW2 refuses to work. I've understood that this has something to do with the online features (presumably EA won't let too young kids to chat with strangers, which is fine), but GW2 has some offline features as well.
Is there ANY way to make this work with accounts for kids under 13?
- Hi @pelipaallikko , it's strange that your child can play Battle for Neighbourville online with a child account 🤔
However, we won't be able to advise on anything to get them access to online features on Garden Warfare 2, since they're legally not allowed to use those ☹️ Not much we can do on our side here unfortunately ☹️
