EA still has a DVD outlet to supply to storefront operators around the world, however, the Origin Store is strictly digital now, and for about the past year or so. I may be incorrect but I believe ALL PC copies are digital. They did not make discs for the PC version. Copies sold in stores for PC are just the codes I believe.
Anything you buy on Origin will be digital.
Origin is where it downloads and launches from. It is like Steam if you are familiar with that.
