If I playing the Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 1 on the PC and buying the game Playstation 4 too, the results will be on the PC, levels, characters, skins, developments remain on Playstation 4 too, or i need to start from beginning again?

If I will buy Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 for PC and Playstation 4 too, then I can play with my son helping each other on same scenario?
1 - No, your progression does not transfer over between two different systems, they are separate.
2 - No, there is no cross platform available for Garden Warfare.
Unrelated to your questions, PS4 does have a splitscreen mode though. Where you and your son can play Garden Warfare on the same console. Only the first player will get rewards though.
I have a question if I buy pvzgw2 on PS4 do I have to buy it on PC again I'm not sure, I'm switching from console to pc soon this info will be helpful
