I too, have unfortunately run into this with my PS4 and copy of the Deluxe Edition. I think it's absolutely unacceptable as there is no indication whatsoever anywhere on the box or enclosed redemption code sheet that there are any limitations regarding the extra content. My 9 yr. old son paid the $70 on his own to get the game, and now he has nothing to show for it and no recourse towards receiving it as the EA rep I spoke to was adamant that they will not do anything for us regarding the matter. They even blamed it on Sony by saying that Sony were the ones who licensed the redemption codes to EA and thus the EA rep couldn't give us another code to use to receive what we paid for. Of course, that's a lie as the Sony rep I spoke to said it was entirely the publsher's decision as to how the codes and content work once being distributed. Overall, this whole thing is deceptive and unfair, and this is very likely the last EA game we ever buy, no matter how good it may be. Pure greed and nothing more.
Anyway, it may not do anything, but I just filed a complaint with my State Attourney General's office so that they are aware of this and can perhaps look into it and effect some kind of resolution. I've never done that ever before, but I think this is wrong. You may want to file complaints as well, because if they get enough of them and follow up with EA, EA may feel the pressure and make things right in the end.

I completely agree. The disappointment of my 2 children aged 10 and 8 years is deep and I can not do anything to fix it. I am Spanish and do not know how to file a complaint , but I'm sure this will be the last game of EA I 'm buying . What a shame !
