I've been reading this thread since I'm also facing a similar issue. And I totally agree with all the consumers who are frustrated and angry. But I also understand why is it made this way.
So, EA made it this way to prevent others (by others I mean, anyone who isn't using your PS4) from logging into that PS4 and claiming the deluxe edition coins/characters to themselves. Then removing that account afterwards. That would mean that your friends could get the deluxe edition content by logging into your PS4 without buying it and that would make EA lose money this way.
But, I totally agree with everyone in here since EA DID NOT mention that in the PSN store page.
And for those who say that other games could have this or that. I'm sorry, but the majority of consumers are un-aware of such systems and methods.
I apologize for EA Jenni. But this is not an Acceptable Solution.
In my opinion, EA should patch the game and add an "additional content" in the store for those who purchased the Deluxe Edition. By downloading that "content" to your PS4, your main account + sub-accounts should benefit from all what Deluxe Edition has to offer. (I know that the problem I mentioned above could occur by this way too, but the majority of games do that).
Or, worst case scenarios, at least have the option to give it to one account only.
And let's not forget the pre-order bonuses.
