Every one including the devs will say no variants in Battle for Neighborville. But let me say this, over time (short time that is) everyone will get board with customizations and monthly quest for them. We will all hit max rank soon and with new characters as time goes on they will get maxed quickly as well. The leveling up grind on the previous two shooters always kept people playing more so than challenges and quest. In fact most of the time we did the challenges and quest to help level up our characters and earn coins to get more variants. I have to believe more than ever that people will lose interest over time and variants or ability equivalents will be added despite what others are saying now. We will lose interest without the grind and new elements Will will be added to keep us playing.
