TIP - Turn your right hand counter-clockwise so that you can hold the circle button (assuming PS4 here) down with the knuckle of your thumb while using the tip of your thumb to do the jumping. Don't let go of your left stick or you'll stop moving and just jump in place.

Actually, BfN provides an easy way to get revives. There are many normally suicidal positions where I have gotten revives... as Citron, because he can hold up his shield and revive simultaneously.
