@ToastedSarnie If you want to check them out, they are available on PS now as is said. As it is a streaming service, You won't need a good pc, but your Internet speeds should be very good. I once tried it with a 50 mbit download and 15 upload connection and it didn't work well. Anything from 75 mbit download should work rather well, though (from my experience) I bought all of the games on PS3 but can't play them on my PS4 because there is no backwards compatibility expect through this subscription service. If you can't check them out because the games are only on Playstation 3 (and one on ps4) and the ps now service isn't that appealing to you, you could still watch some of the cutscene compilations on YouTube. I think they are extremely funny to watch 🙌. These games are system sellers for me. I only bought my PS4 because Ratchet & Clank was announced for it. They ended up delaying it by a nearly a year and so I was stuck with a PS4 and nothing to play on it I liked for some time. While I think the xbox is shaping up to be better in nearly every regard, I love Ratchet & Clank so much I just need to get a PS5. There's no way around it for me 🥳.
I agree that the Xbox game pass is really cool. I tried Gamepass Ultimate on my PC and I loved it. And I agree with the gaming pc prices, of course. Nvidia just announced their new graphic cards. I saw many people online saying they killed the new generation of consoles before they launched, but I disagree. Of course these cards can perform quite a bit better than the consoles, but they also cost as much as one (and that's just the graphics card 🤔!). I don't want to judge anyone for having a favorite platform and think that all are nice 😃, but I wouldn't pay this much for a gaming pc at the moment, because some games aren't even being optimized to take advantage of the good hardware on pc anymore.
I also love how PvZ is appealing to so many target audiences. Unfortunately, it isn't looking good for the franchise ☹️. The saddest thing to me is that certain people make fun of the devs and people supporting them now, because "the game ignored its core audience and was aimed to be more mainstream, but failed to get mainstream attention". I'm sure that if EA had actually marketed the game, it would have been a huge success, despite the issues. The more casual audience couldn't care less about missing mechanics like damage drop-off and such. The game nailed its presentation, even more so than the gw games and had fun gameplay.
I truly hope it's not the end of the franchise & that there'll be another shooter, and that they will next time make it cross-play - in which case I'll see you all there!
