Need more information about your computer.
Does it have a dual-GPU card? Disable SLI/Xfire
Other programs running, specifically overlay programs? Disable them or disable Origin In Game (required for joining friends and coin store)

Is it a laptop? Is the game actually using the dGPU?
The part where you say it freezes making a sound... possibly sound drivers. If you can't find updates, try disabling the sound completely in Device Manager, test. If it corrects we narrowed it down that far to a sound driver issue.
GPU drivers? Latest Stable or Beta release? Reset their 3D profiles?
More info on some of that.

Did you try any of the things that pertain to you? Mostly I'm thinking software interference.
