Portal Event is broke hanging on found best match

You guys finally make a portal event I love and it's broke...come on guys.  I'm on PC and confirmed with several players.

    OK... logged in and did the testing:

    Tried EU server (PC)...


    as before for TT (found best match... waiting... cant connect or whatever it says and spits you back out thingy)... tried the mystery portal... yep working... but it did this last night, one game then stopped working again... so I checked again... nope, same issue repeatedly cannot get into a game.

    Tried  North East US...

    checked TT and the mystery portal both a couple of times and its working fine... straight into  games, both TT and mystery portal.

    So maybe its just an EU problem? @Gormey what server are you on?

    Yep... us too... managed 2 games the day it started... then nothing despite numerous tries... then a surprise one last night that worked and then nothing again...
    to be honest we have given up trying... not be getting 50 rainbow stars this week.

    It worked perfect for me until today...I played last night no problem for hours except the odd games that had severe lag which I assume is due to party characters.

    Can I check what region you're in? If you're in Europe can you go back to the multiplayer portal, change the region to the US, then try the Event Portal again?

    @EA_DavidWe are in Europe, will log in right now and check.
    New posts on Reddit too... so there's an issue for loads of folks.

    I'm in NA native but was playing Europe when it was * the bed. I just finished playing on NA and working great now.

    last night finally i tried TT and was all working fine, played like 10 matches and was all right, EU server on PC

    @AceB011 Thanks for the confirmation,. 

    This has been fixed for folks for a while now, but if you see anything similar again in future, please let us know.
