I've noticed that there are a few people who seem to be abusing something I don't understand or is a bug in the game!
I've used the super on a few opponents and watched them freely move around, use skills, and even jump out of the way! All while goop'd mind you!
Anyone else seen people doing this?
Hmmm, you seem to be playing as the Chomper correct? If so, there is a bug that could sometimes happen when using goop on someone.
To summerize it all up; people accidentally use their skills while at the same time you "goop" them. This causes a bug where the person that got gooped still have the animation of goop all around their character, but they are able to either move around freely or able to use their abilities at will or both as a matter of fact. Am not sure which skills causes it or what the exact timing to trigger the bug.
Keep in mind that am not 100% sure that using skills at the same time with goop causes the bug, but it's a theory. It happened to me sometimes as well: I get gooped and am able to run freely and use skills.
To enlighten you some more, there's another glitch that the Chomper could do. Sometimes, the chomper swallows the enemy player, but the enemy player just turns invisible then exits your mouth with full health and then becomes visible again (You can tell if this happens if you don't get a vanquish for it). This also causes the enemy player's vision change depending on where he died at. There was one time where this happened to me and bam, turned into 1st person Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare (It will change back to regular 3rd person vision after you die or leave the match). xD
Don't think it's the skill thing, as I've been trying some of your theories to see if they can be reproduced. With no results that follow the same as yours.
However I have always since the incipetion of this game noticed the lucky few whom either know of a little secret where they fall off of somethig as soon as they are gooped, and are not restrained, or they just all together shrug it off!
I am not talking about misses or anything liek that, but people who shrug off the goop walk around you.. shoot you!
Had a match not too long a go where a whole room full of zombie got gooped, and one guy in the back start slowly moving and scooted off the steps! He's a higher level as well. So if he has found some glitch/bug/error/cheat.. oh i hope it is expoed soon!
Oh yeah and I've seen the invis thing a few times! Someone tried to convince me that they were riding a jack hammer! So I tried to kill vanquish him again, and then it just showed him frozen there in place. shortly after in frustration I stuck around too long and his team mates came along to take me out.
So what exactly is happening? Are they displaying the goop effect and still moving at full speed? Do you know how to do it?
Are you shooting where they "should" have been gooped and they're not being gooped?
This sometimes happens because you hit on your screen but its not making contact on the server so the two actions unsynced, and the victim's reaction is according to the server.

Yeah that all sounds great, and like something that anyone should expect if you have a slow connection that is not directly connected to a fiber optic connection and so on and so forth.
However.. what I am talking about is people exploting known bugs that I may or the devs may not be familar with people exploting!
It's not just me, but others have also already commented on certain instances here as well.
You goop a player, they have the effect on them. Sometimes they stand still, you are unable to kill them, they can't kill you. Someone else on their team kills you while this is happening. At other times, not everyone but at least 2 people I know who are over 100 and have been playing as long as I have, have started using something know else can do!
They gooped, and will slowly walk out of it, and around you while shooting you!
I'm now level 104, been playing since the game came out. WIll admit I don't know anything, but know a few things.
Yours has been the only mention I've heard of anything like this issue. A clear description of the issue would be nice, without the "other times".
There is a random low occurrance issue where a Chomper will swallow a victim, get the kill but the victim will still be alive, where they were swallowed. Haven't seen any solid way to reproduce this reliably though.
What goop issue are you seeing that you think is being exploited? Only the Super Goop should root the player, the normal goop allows players to continue moving, just very slowly.
Amazing how someone is giving you XP for answering things that are not related and for you trying to sound liek a know it all!
Yes the super goops is suppose to be the only one to "root" people.

It is clearly not the only other mention, as if you look at the post someone else has mentioned noticing the player not being "rooted"/cessle.
Furthermore unless you are a developer of this title, please do not attempt to belittle me while i am trying to gain clarity on a situation! I do not need to make anything clearer. I asked something simple, if people have also noticed that someone people might be exploting some bug/error/coding mistake/glitch/etc. where players are moving after being goop'd.
I gave that XP...becuase overclocked is asking the questions needed to find the root cause/explain what it might be
I dont think he was belittling you, everyone just wants to figure out what the issue is. A majority of the items posted here do not provide enough information or steps for a Dev to action on. Basically at this point without either more info or other people coming forward with more info there isnt much to be done
