When using Sprint Tackle during Flag of Power it's possible to plow over each entire Weed Wave with a single tackle.
What you need to do is wait in the circle until the Weeds start arriving and then run in a circular motion just inside the boundary until all the Weeds have gathered into a single pursuing crowd. Once you have that mob following you, while still moving you'll want to turn around to face them and quickly aim and Tackle.
If you're too close to the flag pole sometimes a couple of Weeds will break off from the crowd to circle around to the other side of the pole in their pursuit of you, but if you're right at the outer edge of the boundary and can turn and aim smoothly enough you can Vanquish all 10 Weeds of each Wave with a single Tackle.
As the next Wave spawns in you simply repeat, only you run in circles a little longer as your Tackle recharges.
To reach the 20 million total vanquishes with Butter Barrage/Bigger Better Butter and Sprint/Ultra Tackle, we have to average 5 million vanquishes per day, for 4 days. However, after the 1st day, we haven't gotten anywhere near that number.
It's unlikely we'll ever reach the red chest for this one.
The main issue for this one is the long cooldowns for these abilities despite their ability to dish out some damage hurts our overall score.
The first few games of ops I joined on Thursday, the majority of people were playing all stars. Friday was a different story, very few all stars.
I'd love to see the system changed so that there's a minimum requirement for each chest. 50 for yellow. 100 for blue and 150 for red, that way people would have the incentive to put in more effort rather than just doing the minimum, instead of relying on those of us who go above and beyond to try and help with the goals.- Let's make this Community Challenge extremely difficult when it's Mother's Day weekend! :D
- Honestly whenever I see a super- specific Community Challenge which can only be accomplished by a majority of the Community switching away from what might be their favorite character or game mode or playing in a fashion which they might not normally I really wonder if we'll hit the top prize or not.
On the first day you can count on a lot of people pursuing the Challenge but after that first day people go back to their favorite character, game mode and play style so you can really tell by the times Friday is rolling by how far we'll get towards the top.
Maybe they were hoping with the Friends Play Free days it would help the numbers.
By just playing various All-Stars in Flag of Power and Graveyard Ops I was able to put together a little over 500 Tackle vanquishes in just a couple of hours.The key to success in this one is for there to be more All Stars in both of those game modes concentrating on taking out large numbers of Weeds. Multiplayer vanquishes for the All Star are going to be far fewer and vanquishes with Butter Barrage rely really heavily on timing to collect larger numbers of vanquishes.
OK I can see how to do it with all star ,but I contend that my BBB method will take noticeably less time. I've got the entire set of zombies down the moment they reach the base - then respawn, repeat. No waiting around for cool down.
