I'm going to echo this. I'm no longer getting bulbs from whatever factor it was that saw me get them from almost every ops match and often in TT. XP is working now but 15k is too high. I had posted about this before as I felt that once things were fixed it would be too much XP to get a bulb. Some of the challenges are still bugged as well, showing complete when not. Luckily the trick where you go and vanquish enough of the proper enemies, log off, log back on, and vanquish another one of those key enemies gives the bulb (I had this with scientists yesterday).
I went and counted and it's 182 bulbs to unlock the entire map again just like last month but there's 2 problems; 1) we lose an entire day which is 2+ bulbs we can't get for the missing day (imagine February with this!), and 2) unless something changes, we won't get a 30 bulb influx like October. I got 5 bulbs yesterday with 2 from challenges and playing lots of TT and Ops, but I played a LOT and it was Sunday so didn't have to work, there's no way I can maintain this pace while working, playing other games, and working on my own projects plus RL obligations.
I would suggest one or more of the following:
-Reduce the bulb XP to 10k, 7.5k, or 5k. (i'm leaning more towards 7.5k or 5k now that the random bulb for finishing matches is no longer a thing).
-Provide more daily challenges and/or have them provide more than 1 bulb each.
To the devs, I've always been positive even when pointing out problems, but this has to be fixed and soon. I like the concept of the prize maps; give us incentive, let max rank XP count for something unlike GW2, and keep giving us new things to strive for, but this is going to frustrate people more than incentivize us. Please get this made less tedious ASAP.
