If they put 25 bulbs up in the store for $10 or whatever it is, people wouldn't even consider it - are they just hoping people won't bother to work out the various conversions? Or are they hoping to tempt those who haven't yet spent on Rux the rainbow stars they've accrued so far? It's bizarre!

I personally can't stand this idea.
This just encourages people to pay their way through the Prize Map, rather than just play the game normally and earn Bulbs.
They lowered the XP Rate for a reason, so people didn't feel like they were just grinding away for one Prize Bulb.I have a hard enough time trying to find Lobbies on PC, and if people are able to just purchase the whole prize map outright, it's going to be that much more difficult. Speaking of buying out the whole Prize Map, if you're at 0 Prize Bulbs, that's roughly $70 USD to purchase the whole thing...that's a bit much, don't you think?
Edit: Plus, it takes out the sense of "Accomplishment" for trying to complete the whole Prize Map. It keeps people logging in every day to do the Dailies, and Weekly Character Challenges. With this in place, it ruins everything.
