Community ManagerIf you are running an 'N' Edition of Windows 10, you need to download and install this Media Feature Pack:

Additionally, you may need to download and install the VC++ Redistributables:

@EA_Barry i've reinstalled the game twice, it never fixed the issue, I'm not running an N version of windows 10. i've installed all of the redistributables, and still nothing works. i've uninstalled the ea app, (which is much more complicated then it needs to be) and reinstalled it, installed the game again and the error continues to come up.
