Ps4 couch coop guest account
I want to buy this game and want to be sure
I have 1 active psn account, can i add a guest account and play the offline modes splitscreen coop(free roam ,horde..) ?

@avinis83 I think every player, even guest accounts, need ps plus. I remember reading that ps plus shouldn`t be required for private play, but due to a bug it is required. Maybe someone from the community manager team like @EA_David can give us updates on this.
You are able to access the free roam regions (the game`s story elements) without ps plus, though.
So you will be able to play the story mode with someone who doesn`t have ps plus, but not multiplayer online matches and private play (Private play is like multiplayer, but features bots instead of players).

- @avinis83 I play split screen all the time with my husband and we only have one Playstation Plus account.
So yeah you can play it with someone else.
However thanx to i don't know what playing together is very annoying because of the lag. Turf takeover is not playable in splitscreen, and with removal from mixed mode you can only play team vanquish or the weekly portal together without trouble. @MrKritiek I'm glad split-screen with only one account that has ps plus is working for you! Whenever I try it it doesn't work. I don't know why. It worked for me until a patch in December or so. Then the portal told us every account needs to have ps plus.
Weirdly enough, Turf Takeover doesn't lag significantly more in split-screen than it would normally on my PS4. Another thing I noticed is that whenever one player respawns, the other can't move or activate abilities for 1 second.
Multiple accounts can benefit from Xbox Live if at least one account on that Xbox has it. I believe PS Plus works in the same way.
