Psa: don’t charge your controller during match

So this happends every time you charge your controller while you’re in the game. This affects xbox controllers. 

As soon as you use an adapter to charge your controller (which automatically disconnects your controller for a brief period) the game doesn’t recognise your controller as Controller 1 anymore and thinks it’s Controller 2 cause if you hold the ‘X’ button it’ll ‘sync’ for split screen. 

It happend the first time I didn’t know about it and second time I totally forgot about it.

    I am on Xbox and have never encountered this problem, if its playing Co-Op or PvE or MP when my battery runs low and I get the message pop up saying they are low, I just plug in my cable and carry on, my controller does not disconnect unless it completely goes flat and turns off.

    @Koochi-Q That's interesting, I can't say I've encountered this on the PS4 side of things. Can I check if you have any 2nd pad connected or charging when this happens, or is it just your main pad that's turned on?

    @Koochi-Q I'm on xbox. I actually have both an Xbox One and Xbox One X. Played on both, wireless and wired controller. Never had any issues.

    @EA_David I only use 1 controller. No other controller connected.

    @Kexlar wth? Your controller is supposed to disconnect for like half a second when you use the plug-N-play charger. Weird that yours doesn’t do that. But this issue on BfN is that it thinks that it’s a second controller instead of noticing it’s just the first controller. Even weirder is that the controller is linked to my acc.

    Do you have your controller set to automatically log in your profile for that particular controller? I know on xbox one you can go into the controller settings for this. It might solve your issues to do that if you haven't done so.
