PvZ app crashes during "Portal Combat" minigame.
I'm running iOS 9.2 on a 6s, and the PvZ app crashes consistently during the "Portal Combat minigame. It happens when the portals change for the first time.

Unfortunately not. It's not possible to report a defect at http://help.ea.com, contact to EA support via Email is blocked and EA is ignoring this crash since almost two years!! :-(

Do not report crashes as bugs. To contact the support team by chat or over the phone fill out this form and select Technical support / Game performance in the drop down menu.
That form seems to be only for XBOX1, PC and PS4, but he app is crashing on iOS!! :-S
This form cannot be completed. When trying to send a report the loading animation is displayed an will not disappear.
The Contact EA system is NOT WORKING!!! So nothing can be reported whatever you are selecting at that form.
That might be the reason why EA is not fixing any bugs. Unbelievable!
- So you will respond to a person telling them how they are reporting is wrong but you won't help fix this bug after it being messed up forever? That's crappy
- Is anyone able to report this crash at help.ea.com and to complete step_4? I am always struggling with the activity indicator. No chance for me to complete a request.
EA_Zoe, the link you furnished is for the incorrect product.
You've succeeded in sending users who correctly describe the issue as a bug, though for technical reasons within the EA support chain you want to triage that to game performance issues, without offering even the beginnings of an explanation as to the reason for the difference. Then on top of that you drop them a link to a form that can't possibly work because it is for Garden Warfare, an entirely different product whose only connection is that it shares the same IP.
I realize that was likely an honest mistake, but that was carelessly handled.

Unlike Garden Warfare, the only option for iOS for this game *is* to report it as a bug. There is no "game performance" category.
Thanks. I've reported this issue as well. I'm attempting to tweet @popcap and @plantsvszombies but they're ignoring me. I think I'm just going to keep pestering them until I get a response. This is really inappropriate behavior from the developer behind an app regarded as "Essentials" by Apple. A bug this easy to replicate should not persist for YEARS. it's ridiculous.
