PVZ Battle for Neighbourville stuck in infinite loading screen

On both mine and my daughters PSN accounts  Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville is stuck in an infinite loading screen. It attempts to boot up but then stalls and doesn’t progress any further...

Thank you for your guidance on this issue. The game was only reinstalled yesterday after initialising the ps4 due to a safe mode infinite loop. 

I have just restored the licenses and powered off the ps4 as per your suggestion.

Unfortunately the game is still stalling on the load screen. It states that it is matchmaking, that a match has been found, switches to the next title screen and then stalls indefinitely.
