PvZ BFN Crashing On Next Gen Xbox Series X
I have been having an issue on Plants Vs Zombies: Battle For Neighborville since December of 2021. Basically, for the past 2 years, what happens is while I’m playing on the Xbox Series X (the newest Xbox) the game will randomly crash and it makes my entire Xbox lose audio even when I go into other games. Then if I keep playing the game it will eventually freeze entirely and I have to restart my Xbox Series X. I have already tried multiple fixes for this, like clearing my Alternate MAC address and clearing Blu Ray and Disc Space storage. The other thing I do is I always have a fast internet speed and a WIRED connection. So I know this is not an internet issue. I believe this is an issue due to the fact that Plants Vs Zombies Battle For Neighborville is no longer receiving updates and is not supported anymore. So I need someone to go and make the game optimized for next-gen consoles including the Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and the PS5. I’ve already read the EA Answers HQ and multiple people just like me are having the same problem. I think someone who works at EA needs to go and make the game optimized for Next-Gen consoles including the Xbox Series X and S, and the PS5. I just finished chatting with someone on EA Help, and he is letting workers at EA know about the issue so hopefully they can fix it. If anyone will tell me that they can’t do anything about it because the game is not supported anymore I know that is a lie. I know it is a lie because there was an issue with Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2 a year ago, where Rux wasn’t working anymore, and even though the game wasn’t being supported, an EA official worker went in and fixed the issue and now Rux is back up and running again just fine. So if they can go in and fix something on that game, they can easily have someone go in and optimize Plants Vs Zombies: Battle For Neighborville on Xbox Series X, S, and the PS5, so that me and many others can enjoy playing the game without interruption!
What you need to do is have an EA official worker go in to the game files, apply a patch that addresses this Next-Gen issue, and then release the update for everyone on all consoles so that this issue does NOT happen anymore. I know it would make not just me, but other players having the same issue happy as well!
P.S. (If anyone that works for EA sees this, PLEASE fix this issue, make a patch, and find out if optimizing the game is the right move so that it no longer crashes, and makes the audio bug out for Next-Gen players on the Xbox Series X!)
