PvZ Garden Warfare 2 game won't launch

I've just bought a new gaming desktop for my kids. I installed the EA app and bought and downloaded PvZ Garden Warfare 2. I am unable to launch the game, either from the EA app or desktop. I receive the following message:

"There is a problem with your game's setup. Please reinstall the game."

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice and have restarted my PC. Any help would be appreciated!
