Hi Everyone!
Thanks for letting us know what you are seeing with PvZ Garden Warefare 1, I wanted to get some additional information to share this with the team, please respond in the thread to the following information.
- Which platform are you getting the error message on?
- Can you click past the message to play?
- When did the message start for you?
- Does it happen on multiple accounts?
- Do you have cloud backup enable (for PC)
- Do you get this message on GW2 or BFN as well?
- What troubleshooting have you tried so far?
In addition, if you have not try the following steps let us know if anything changed?
- Allow Origin and GW1 through any Anti-virus and additional secuirty
- Disable Origin in-game overlay and any other running overlay
- Clear Origin Cache or Clear EA App's Cache
- Connection and Advance Connection Guides
- Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)

Thanks for your response..
I'm having this issue and I'm playing on a PC.
The error occurs when you start the game. You recive a message telling you "ERROR failed to retrived your saved data" and then you can click OK.
After you have clicked OK you are promted with a message "ERROR Are you sure you want to proceed with no saving" and there you can choose yes or no.
If you click Yes you can play the game but all setting and customizations are gone like key mappings etc. You then need to change those settings evertime you start a new game.
If you click No then the message apperas again after 30seconds. (but your level, coins etc are loaded correct)
I have reinstalled the game, cleared tha cache, changed the DNS servers without any luck.
I think there is a server side error since everyone from different places have these issues.
