Hi Everyone!
Thanks for letting us know what you are seeing with PvZ Garden Warefare 1, I wanted to get some additional information to share this with the team, please respond in the thread to the following information.
- Which platform are you getting the error message on?
- Can you click past the message to play?
- When did the message start for you?
- Does it happen on multiple accounts?
- Do you have cloud backup enable (for PC)
- Do you get this message on GW2 or BFN as well?
- What troubleshooting have you tried so far?
In addition, if you have not try the following steps let us know if anything changed?
- Allow Origin and GW1 through any Anti-virus and additional secuirty
- Disable Origin in-game overlay and any other running overlay
- Clear Origin Cache or Clear EA App's Cache
- Connection and Advance Connection Guides
- Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use)

PS4 platform
i can click past and play.
Coins, level, and rank are intact. Character and same setting preferences are lost and have to be reset between each game.
Started on March 23,2022 for me
Same issue on both my PS4 and PS5 (one is disc version and one is digital - same issue)
I’ve restarted, logged out of PSN, restored licenses, reset my router, etc. I also contacted EA who denied any issues whatsoever. Then I called PlayStation and they searched the topic and saw that there were hundreds of players complaining about this issue on the EA website. So I chatted with EA again and they told me they were working on it but I felt brushed off and get the feeling nothing I’d being done.
