PvZ GW2 - Failed to retrieve your saved Data!

After 'completing' Plants vs. Zombies: garden Warfare 1 on EA Desktop trough Xbox Game Pass, I bought
PvZ: GW2 on Steam and started playing it.

However right form the start I wasn't able to play multiplayer, as there only seemed to be a single server online and maybe not even in every region.

EA finally got around to fixing this issue a few days ago and since then I could also play multiplayer games.

However now, since yesterday, when I try to start GW2 on PC via Steam / EA Desktop I get the following error:

Failed to retrieve your saved Data!

And everyone at least on Steam seems to be getting this too.

Would be nice if you could fix this, so we can at least play the game which you are still currently selling, even if it's not being updated anymore etc.

I think that would be the very bare minimum of an expectation a paying customer of yours could have, at least that's what it's like on Steam.

Even just letting us know that this is a known issue to you and you are currently working on a fix - even without an eta - would go a long way.
