PvZ GW2 Failed to join game

I recently re-bought PvZ GW2 from steam after years of not playing it (used to play it on PS4). I had gotten into multiplayer games like twice, ever since, I cannot find any other games. Me and my friends have been having the issue for days now and for some reason we still cant join a single game. Instead we get an error that says "failed to join game". That's it. Loads for like 10 seconds then says that. Unlike other error messages that often have to do with internet or connections, I have never heard or seen anyone get this problem so I haven't seen any solutions. If anyone else is having this issue as well then please let me know. It can't just be me and my friends that it does this too. I really love this game so I hope I get to play it!

    My two friends and I have all just purchased PVZGW2 due to the steam sale for it. We all get hyped to play the skins we just got as well as finally playing a game that looks so interesting to play as a group, but the unfortunate part is... We can't even join multiplayer servers. We have tried exiting the game and rejoining, trying both plants and zombie portals, and trying to enter all available game modes, we also even tried reinstalling the game. We keep getting the prompt "failed to find match" after waiting 5 minutes in the queue. One time I thought the connection worked, and my game crashed. My friend said that one time he got the prompt "kicked you out of the game because you were AFK", and my third friend said that on the loading screen he was stuck on a black screen with the yellow loading flower on it until he had to shut down the game. Are the servers just not online or something? I checked the EA servers multiple times and it says that they should be, although I don't see how this could be happening to three different people. Assistance with this would be amazing, thanks for everyone's time.

    Agreed.

    I'm on PC using Origin. For about a week now the North American East and West servers always give me a "Failed to find a match" error when trying to play multiplayer. Was on live chat and they say everything is fine on their end. I don't agree.

    Some support or even acknowledgement of a problem would be nice!
