PVZ GW2 Garden/graveyard ops in split screen doesn't work

We bought the PVZ GW2 game on the first day available. We have never been able to play garden or graveyard ops in split screen since day one. We can play the other games, but not the ops in split screen.

why is that. I spent over 12 hrs today contacting the EA chat advisors, rec'd about 6 emails on how to fix it. did it step by step and it did not solve the problem. The last advisor referred me to the forums.

    When we bought the PvZGW2 since the first day, we have completed as many of the added challenges to get the stars, to "clean the rubble" to decorate the backyard, buy the 200 star bonus thing etc etc etc.

    It was beyond time consuming. however all the decorations and changes do not save and they all have been lost. AND the stars are all lost as well.

    All the extra statues, the sunflower/tree for the water front etc etc etc. have been lost and not saved.

    after spending 12 hrs today, trying to resolve this issue, an EA chat advisor could only recommend posting in the forums.

    is there a solution to this or is the added games and achievements for stars a useless thing to do?

    @nutsymcgee How does the split screen fail exactly?I see you're on Xbox One, it should generally work without much hassle.


    For lost progress, the first thing I'd check is if there's a gamertag mixup, make sure you're playing on the same account that you used previously. There was an issue with rubble resetting around launch, but it was relatively small-scale. 


    Could you try creating  new gamertag as a test, then see if you encounter the same issues?

    I am having issues with split screen as well. My lady and I played garden ops countless times but recently it started saying that "the other account cannot access online features". To my knowledge, no changes have been made to either account since we last played. Why can she not play as guest or with her own non-paying-member account? What changed?

    With all these issues with this new game, we have pretty much stopped playing.

    Nobody has resolved any of them yet which is annoying.

    Yes, we specifically bought the Xbox one to buy this game.
    Nothing works to get garden ops/graveyard ops in split screen.

    As for the lost improvementwe no longer play or invest as much time in the game as we did.

    It freezes the game. We have to turn it off and start all over again which is another determent.

    Thanks for the information. From the information I have this is being looked into, sorry that I couldn't provide a fix.

    Thank you. Please keep me updated. My lady and I LOVE this game and we played it many times since it's release date and never had any issues playing Garden Ops split screen until the past couple weeks. 

    It kind of looks like the 2nd split screen player is required to have a paid playstation account in order to play.  This was not the case before.
