PvZ GW2 Not been given Deluxe Edition Add-Ons

I recently purchased PvZ Garden Warfare 2 Deluxe Edition on Steam, launched the game and mapped to my EA account. 

However, when loading in, I haven't got any deluxe edition packs, even though even my EA app even states 'Deluxe Edition Through Steam'.

I've been in contact with EA support over the last day, and actioned the following things:

- Only launch through Steam

- Verify steam game files

- Uninstall / reinstall game

I was advised to contact steam support, however as this is a third party EA game, the support is: 'Unfortunately, Plants vs. Zombies™ Garden Warfare 2: Deluxe Edition does not utilize Steam to manage its items. You will need to contact their Support Team for any questions about your items in that game.'

I was then finally advised to request a steam refund and buy the game again... not sure how that really helps me, as I'd have to wait weeks for another sale in the hopes I can get it at the same price, as well as not be able to play. 

Does anyone have any advice to get this sorted, as currently it seems I have no support whatsoever.

  • I have the same problem, the advisor said they contacted the devs to fix the issue for me and its been about 3 days and I still don't have anything.
