PvZ GW2 won't start

Totally inadequate data.  No one here can make any useful suggestions on that basis, sorry!

I assume this is the PC version am I correct? Are you running any processes on your system which may cause conflict with the game (such as high usage software, etc)? If not, is your connection stable? It could be a loading problem or a connection issue (the way you phrase it make it seem like the game just gave up connecting after one minute).

If possible, please post a screenshot or further information (such as error codes if present) so we can solve this as soon as possible.

You chose to omit almost anything useful that the community could use to offer you suggestions, and followed that up with nothing at all.  We have to class this as an abandoned thread. 

idk how to get ahold of you for help. but you seem like the kinda guy that could fix my problem. my computer wont start up the game at all. i press play. it darkens the play button. nothing happens and it lets me click it again. i have an alienware so i know i can run it. im playing bf1 with out problems. i sent you a friend request so add me and il give you all the info needed for you to help me

Personally, I do not visit the PvZ-GW 1 or 2 forums very often lately.  This thread's OP author started this post out without paying attention to the Self-Help nature of the entire website here on AHQ.  I'm quoting part of what I wrote to that member at the time.  It goes for you as well.

is the game updated?

Between your Origin client, and the game, patching occurs automatically. 

Same here. i am current download the trial version. It says that the game is playable at 36%. I'm now at 80%. Error code says that I don't have the latest direct X drivers and Directx 11 is required. I have Directx12. I have Windows 10 HP Elitebook . Obviously people are having this same issue. to dismiss the problem does not make it go away.
