PvZ Heroes - lost account

I was plying this game for few years and invested some money in it. 3 days ago I had to update software on my phone. Whan I opened PvZ Heroes all my progress was gone and I had to to do the tutorial. I did not have my profile linked but my phone is telling me that the app has 800 MB of data. I think that one beginner account can't take that much space. This is leading me to thinking that my device should have the account loaded somewhere. Can I still access it?

    Did you save your progress through Game Center, Google +, Facebook, and/or EA Account or were you playing on a guest account? If you didn't backup your game before this happened, there's not much that can be done:

    1. Tap the Settings cog icon.
    2. Tap Help & About.
    3. Tap Contact Support to visit EA Help.

    They’ll ask for the Player ID of the account you're missing the items on when you contact them, it'd be good to have that handy.
